 SPLASHING PIGEONS
Splashing Pigeons is a spoken word CD project currently in production. Writing is the most natural way for me to express my thoughts and feelings. It is not something I choose to do, but is rather something I am compelled to do. Sharing these thoughts and feelings is something I choose to do. Many of the selections which will be on the CD are available to read under the nom de plume, Runningdog. Other selections are new writings, or new versions of older compositions which will appear for the first time on the Splashing Pigeons CD. Some pieces are co-authored by Kym, and one composition, GRACE, was written by my mom. I have enlisted friends to write and perform music for the project so the CD is a complete listening experience, and not simply a droning, mundane monologue.
I am organizing the compositions into suites. The first suite contains words of love written about the relationship between myself and my wife —my one true love, Kym. Suite II is comprised of words written about our relationship with God and the universe. Suite III contains other compositions which fit everywhere and nowhere.
